Get to know me

I could tell you that I’ve been a wedding hair stylist for 25+ years and I love playing around with hair, adore working on weddings, blah blah blah, etc!

But I know you’re in full wedding planning mode and really just want to find out if I will fit right in with your wedding party, and be that perfect wedding hair stylist you’ve been searching for.

So read on for a bit more about me.

I’m a bit of a people person and love a chat about pretty much anything, especially a good tv series . At the time of writing this I have recently discovered Celebrity Traitors and am now obsessed.

I'm a big fan of podcasts and tend to listen on the way to my weddings. These often end up being a topic of conversation depending what I've been listening to on the journey.

My happy places are my beach holidays and nights out with the girls.

My husband is really into his music so we are always going to music gigs. My fav is Love Supreme Festival. We also like going on hikes and walks, but he keeps picking routes that have large steep hills!

I was lucky to have Sharon do my hair for my wedding . From the trial onwards I knew I was in good hands! Sharon listened to my concerns about my hair, what I’d love to do with it and gave very realistic advice on what would be possible for my hair type (meaning I wasn’t disappointed by a style that wouldn’t work!)

Sharon recently did my bridal hair and two bridesmaids and was absolutely brilliant. Our hair looked amazing and held up all day. The process was so smooth and detailed, including an initial call with Sharon before booking in a trial. On the day of the wedding Sharon was so much fun whilst getting ready whilst also bringing a much needed sense of calm.

Random facts about me

I love sparkly shoes or boots, and if i'm honest my winter wardrobe is practically all sequin partywear.

I take themes or fancy dress seriously.

I don’t drink tea or coffee.

I love to be by the sea or a river but am not a great swimmer.

I'm a recovering diet coke addict!

I mostly like my drinks fizzy, that includes water & wine.

I don't like avocado or olives, but adore anchovies!

My favourite ice cream is Rum and Raisin.

The Instagram algorithm thinks I like hair tutorials,

recipies involving dates & chocolate, people falling over and cats/dogs/babies doing crazy things.

*edited to add I also like watching swimming pool builds and camper van conversions!

Sharon was the backbone that held the morning of my wedding together! She worked extremely hard to get my hair as well as 6 bridesmaids and mother of the bride done and all of them were delighted with what she did!
